Dear Black Entertainers, You're going to have to Sacrifice!!

Meaning, sure Gabby, Do Bad Boys 3. Get that check. But maybe you and other actors, directors, and producers should be spending more time building a black Hollywood than participating and complaining about the white one. To be honest, black Hollywood may never match White Hollywood. White wealth is powerful. But wouldn't it be better to have more black actors and actresses employed than to have a couple of really rich ones? Before y'all kill me. We know that there is so much more to hiphop than what is blasted on the radio. We know there's a Kendrick and a J.cole and a Big Krit. But the majority of the popular stuff in hip hop (including him) that's played all over the radio is just what he said it is. It lacks lyrics, emotion, and substance. Don't get me wrong, it's fun. It serves  a purpose. But it's everywhere. We know that there's a ton of talent that's underground. We know that there are still great lyricist in hip hop but this era is dominated by party trap music.

Jay Morrison #boycottHoustons..........again! Valid or too much?

Jay Morrison and supporters protested again at the Peachtree Road loacation of Houston's in Atlanta. The protest was in response to what happen last week when Morrison and 6 colleagues were refused service. The following day protests were held at the Lenox and Peachtree locations. Today (a week later) an even larger crowd of supporters showed up outside of Houston's on Peachtree to protest.
